Ivo Vankelecom教授简介:

Prof. Ivo Vankelecom obtained his PhD in Applied Biological Sciences from the Department of Interphase Chemistry at KU Leuven, Belgium in 1994. He subsequently worked at KU Leuven as postdoc on membrane catalysis. Since 2002, he is professor at KU Leuven where he teaches among others Membrane Technology, Adsorption, Environmental Impact Analysis and Chromatography. He is author of around 400 peer-reviewed papers includingScience,Chem. Rev.,Energ. Environ. Sci.,J. Membr. Sci., editor of 1 book and wrote several book chapters. He collaborated with more than 50 companies and has 30 patents. His H-index is 75 and he has been promotor of over 60 PhD students. He is the co-founder and ex-president of the Belgian Membrane Group (BMG), as well as founder in 2010 of the spin-off HTML (High-Throughput Membranes Leuven) developing and selling high-throughput membrane equipment. Main membrane research is situated in the development of membranes for (solvent-tolerant and solvent-resistant) nanofiltration, RO, gas separations, membrane bioreactors, redox flow batteries and water electrolysis.
